Digital Commons Lab (DCL) aims at studying, supporting, popularizing and innovating the world of digital commons. Our goal is to analyze the results of what is continuously produced by the communities with the aim of fostering their growth and maximizing the diffusion of data culture. Our research is related to the quality of open government data and community data and their economic and social impact. We are strongly interested in fostering the dialogue between communities, government and companies on how government data can be made more useful. The We advise national and local governments as well as with business and other institutions. Digital Commons Lab is a unit of Fondazione Bruno Kessler, ICT Center and a node of the Open Data Institute in Trento.
